The Choice is Yours!

The Law of Attraction brings you everything you want and everything you don’t want. The choice is always yours. ~Michael Luckman

I am a firm believer in the Law of Attraction. I know this universal law works and is working all of the time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Like our minds this law never sleeps and creates all the things in our life. And that means all the good things and all the bad things.

Now I know what you’re probably thinking, “Why would I ever have faith in a law that brings bad things into my life? Wouldn’t it be better to not even use this law and then not have to worry about attracting bad things?” On the surface this makes perfect sense. But the problem is, like gravity, this is a universal law. You can’t get rid of it and you can’t turn it on and off, but you can manipulate it. Let me explain.

The law simply says that we attract into our lives through what we give thought, emotion and expectation to. Now we know from social scientists that each of us thinks about 60,000 thoughts in a day. We also know that over 90% of the thoughts we have are negative, or what I consider “beat yourself up thoughts.” You know the ones; Why did I do that? Why did I say that? Every time I open my mouth I sound stupid. Who would ever want to go out with me? I’ve never been good in math. I’m just not good enough. And the list goes on and on.

So we have about 54,000 opportunities in a day to create the things we want to manifest in our life. That’s the good news. The bad news is we have about 54,000 opportunities every day to create the things we don’t want in our life. So how do we create the good and avoid the bad? The simple answer is to avoid thinking negative thoughts that create negative things.

I am going to give you a couple things that should be able to help you. First, learn how to recognize a negative thought. That’s simple enough. Anytime you’re feeling, blue, sad, dejected, scared, worried, stop and ask yourself, what am I thinking? I guarantee you’ll be thinking about something negative. Once you recognize that thought you need to get rid of it.

I believe strongly in a higher power that is always guiding and watching over me. So I say this: Infinite Spirit, I cast the burden of this negative thought about (blank) on you. And I go free. Next I replace the negative thought with its exact opposite (which is what I really want). As an example; let’s suppose I was worried about an upcoming sales call to a customer who has been complaining about my company’s deliveries. My thoughts have lead me to the point of expecting to be thrown out of the buyer’s office (catastrophic negative thought). So I say: Infinite Spirit, my desire is to have a perfect sales call on (buyer’s name). I desire to walk out of his office with the largest order I have ever written with him. And I visualize in my mind doing exactly that.

My friends this is not rocket science. It’s not even calculus. It’s just a matter of recognizing a negative thought. Getting rid of that thought. And then replacing it with a positive thought. Even a cave man can do it.

To your happiness,
